CAUTION: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

If you have small children in your household, please avoid using lamp oil bearing the danger indication label R65. Always keep lamp oil and oil lamps filled with oil or burning oil lamps away from small children.
The oil lamp complies with EN 14085 when used with a wick lock system for the safety of children (Art. 0141, 0142). We recommend the exclusive use of natural based lamp oil (for instance STYX NATUREL) that has proven free of any harmful influence on healt

Please only use authorized lamp oil or lamp paraffin, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Store lamp oil and filled oil lamps in a safe place

Please note that every naked light is a potential hazard. Glass is fragile, so are oil lamps. Please remember, only use the oil lamp under constant supervision and in a
stable, safe place.

Do not light the wick until it is completely saturated with lamp oil. Slight smoking can be eliminated by correcting the wick setting.
The glass fibre wick used have a very long service life. , if you have the right height of the wick (1-2mm are enough. The flame can be small at first, but becomes in 3-5 minutes its normal height)

Use the glas funnel supplied to fill the light bulb up to 2/3 full with lamp oil. The glass body becomes more transparent when filled with lamp oil. The original matt
appearance reappears once the lamp oil has been used up.
