longlife wick with glas fibre, outside cotton.
If you have the right adjustment (a height of 1-2 millimetres is enough) the wick works a very long time.
It is important to burn the wick only when it becomes saturated with lamp oil.

At the beginning the flame can be small, but becomes within some minutes the right height.
Please use only clear lamp oil. Coloured and old (dirty) lamp oil can clog up the wick.
